Terms & Conditions
These are the terms on which you book and stay at Tizer & Tide, our static caravan at Pendine Sands Holiday Park.
Effective date: 10 October 2026
1. Introduction
These terms and conditions apply to all bookings of Tizer & Tide, our privately owned static caravan at Pendine Sands Holiday Park, Pendine, Carmarthenshire. Your agreement is with Tizer & Tide Ltd, Glyndwr House, Occupation Road, Blackwood, NP12 0EQ (‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’). ‘You’ means the person making the booking and every member of your party. By making a booking you agree to these terms, so please read them before confirming your stay. We are unable to accept bookings from anyone under the age of 18.
2. Booking and payment
- The full cost of your stay is payable at the time of booking. Your booking is confirmed once we have received this payment.
- Payments are made by debit or credit card and are processed securely by our payment provider, Worldpay. We do not see or store your card details.
- The price confirmed at the time of booking is the price you will pay. All prices include VAT. Only one special offer or discount can be applied per booking and discounts cannot be applied retrospectively.
- We reserve the right to refuse any booking at our discretion.
3. Changes to your booking
- Up to 42 days before arrival you may move your booking to another date in the same calendar year, subject to availability, payment of a non-refundable £25 administration fee and any difference in price.
- Within 42 days of arrival your booking cannot be altered or transferred to another person.
- We will do our best to accommodate any change you request, but we cannot guarantee it.
4. Cancellation by you
If you need to cancel, please email us at [email protected] quoting your booking reference. Your cancellation takes effect on the date we receive it. The following charges apply:
- More than 42 days before arrival: a cancellation charge of £50 (£80 for group bookings); the rest of the amount paid is refunded
- 41 to 22 days before arrival: 50% of the total holiday cost
- 21 to 15 days before arrival: 75% of the total holiday cost
- 14 days or fewer before arrival: 100% of the total holiday cost
Any refund due will be made within 21 days. If you cut short your holiday after it has started we are unable to refund any money paid. We recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover cancellation.
5. Cancellation or changes by us
In exceptional circumstances, including events beyond our control such as fire, flood, severe weather, damage to the caravan or closure of the park, we may need to cancel or change your booking. If this happens we will tell you as soon as we reasonably can and you may choose to accept the change, accept an alternative stay with us at the same price, or receive a full refund. We are not liable for any additional costs you incur, such as travel or alternative accommodation.
6. Check-in and check-out
- Check-in is from 4pm on your arrival date. The keys are kept in a key safe at the caravan, and we will send you its location and code on the day of your check-in. If you expect to arrive after 11pm you must let us know in advance.
- If you have not told us and the caravan is not occupied by 9am the day after your arrival date, we will treat your booking as cancelled and may re-let the caravan. No refund will be given.
- Check-out is by 10am on your departure date. Please leave the caravan clean and tidy with all rubbish placed in the park bins.
7. Use of the caravan
- Only the guests named on your booking may stay in the caravan. The maximum occupancy is 8 people, including children and babies.
- The caravan is for holiday use only. We are unable to accept bookings for work, residential or commercial purposes, and commercial vehicles are not permitted on the park.
- No smoking, e-cigarettes or vaping anywhere inside the caravan. If you do, you will be charged £100 for specialist cleaning.
- Pets are not permitted in the caravan because of the additional deep-cleaning costs involved. If a pet is found to have been kept in the caravan you will be asked to remove it from the park immediately and will be liable for any additional cleaning or damage.
- Please do not charge an electric vehicle from the caravan’s electricity supply. It is not designed for this and doing so is a fire and safety risk.
- Please respect neighbouring caravans and follow the park rules of Pendine Sands Holiday Park, which is operated by Parkdean Resorts, at all times.
8. Park facilities and entertainment passes
- Pendine Sands Holiday Park is operated by Parkdean Resorts. To use the park’s onsite facilities, including the entertainment and the swimming pool, each member of your party will need an entertainment pass. Passes are sold by Parkdean Resorts, not by us, and are not included in the price of your stay.
- Peak season: £18.50 per person for a 7-night stay, or £16.65 per person for stays of less than 7 nights.
- Off-peak: £10 per person for a 7-night stay, or £9 per person for stays of less than 7 nights.
9. Parties, groups and behaviour
- The park is designed for families and couples. We do not accept hen parties, stag parties or similar celebrations, and no parties or loud gatherings are permitted in the caravan.
- If half or more of your party is aged between 17 and 25, or you are travelling alone, you must tell us when you book.
- Friends or family who travel together or know each other will be treated as a group booking even if they book separately. The lead booker is responsible for the conduct of everyone in the group. For group bookings we may ask for a refundable security deposit, which will be returned within 7 days of departure provided there is no damage, excessive cleaning or breach of these terms.
- Children must be properly supervised by a parent or guardian throughout your stay, including around the park’s open water, pool and play areas.
- We do not accept bookings from anyone on the Violent and Sex Offenders Register. By booking you confirm that nobody in your party is on this register.
- We, or the park management, may refuse entry to or remove any person whose behaviour is noisy, offensive, unsafe or abusive to other guests or staff, or who breaches the park rules or these terms. No refund will be given in these circumstances.
10. Damage and breakages
- Please take good care of the caravan and report any damage or breakages to us straight away.
- You are responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing anything damaged by you or a member of your party, for any additional cleaning required, and for a daily charge for any period the caravan cannot be let because of that damage.
- We may charge these costs to the card used to make your booking, or recover them from you after your stay. A breakdown of costs will be provided on request.
- We may enter the caravan at any reasonable time during your stay to inspect its condition, or without notice in an emergency.
11. Liability
- Your personal belongings and vehicles are your responsibility. We are not liable for loss, theft or damage to them except where caused by our negligence.
- We are not liable for injury arising from misuse of the caravan or the park facilities.
- The park’s facilities, entertainment and activities are provided by Parkdean Resorts, not by us. They may have age or height restrictions, may be limited outside peak season, and may be closed or withdrawn at any time. No refund or compensation is payable if this happens.
- Refunds for power cuts, weather, travel disruption or other site-wide issues beyond our control are not guaranteed and are at our discretion.
12. Caravan condition and complaints
We aim to ensure the caravan is clean, safe and fully working when you arrive. If you notice a problem, please tell us or the park reception straight away so we can put it right. If you still have a concern after your holiday, please email us within 21 days of your departure, from the lead booker and quoting your booking reference, and we will aim to respond within 14 days.
13. Website accuracy
We take care to keep the details on our website accurate, but photographs are for illustration only and facilities on the park may change from time to time. Your booking confirmation sets out the details of your stay.
14. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share your details for marketing purposes.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
